There is little chance that LBJ will join the Spurs. Besides the obvious issue of even with LBJ & Kawhi, there is not much chance that the Spurs will win the championship. The situation between Kawhi & the team is already a turn away, if I were LBJ. Besides, there is a political issue here. LBJ is strongly pro-democrat. He is already not happy playing for Dan Gilbert as the latter is strongly pro-Trump, but Ohio is his hometown, so he has no choice. BTW, I am sure Gilbert was very unhappy when both LBJ & Curry stated that they wouldn't visit the White House no matter which team won the championship. However, Texas is probably the strongest pro-republican state (even though Popovich is anti-Trump), so playing there is not his first choice for certain. On the other hand, Pennsylvania & California are democratic states, which is what LBJ strongly preferred. In fact, the latest Las Vegas odds for next season's championship is already out and the order is:
GSW (not any surprise)
Rockets
76ers (this is predicting that LBJ will most likely join the Sixers)
Celtics
Lakers (this is predicting that they will recruit two big stars, even possibly LBJ)
Cavs (this obviously is predicting that LBJ may very well leave)
These odds are strongly predicting that LBJ will either join the 76ers or the Lakers and leave Cleveland. So they predict that even the Lakers will more likely win than the Cavs next season. Of course, these odds are very preliminary and things will definitely change after the free agent market and draft.作者: rap5302001 時間: 2018-6-10 09:27 PM
